How much does dog walking cost in Toronto?
Our dog walking services in West Toronto range from $25 to $33 per walk. Pack Walks (1 hour, up to 5 dogs) are $25 per walk, Private Walks (30 minutes, one-on-one) are $33 per walk, and Puppy & Senior Visits (15 minutes) are $28 per visit. All prices are in CAD and subject to HST.
Are your dog walkers insured?
Yes! All WalkDogs.ca pack leaders are fully insured for on-leash dog walking through PROfur. We also carry comprehensive liability coverage to ensure your pet is protected at all times during our care.
What areas do you serve?
We currently service West Toronto neighborhoods including Roncesvalles, High Park, The Junction, Parkdale, and Bloor West Village. Check our service area map to confirm your address is within our coverage zone.
How do I book a dog walk?
Getting started is easy! Click the 'Book a FREE Walk' button to schedule a 15-minute meet & greet via Calendly. During the meet & greet, we'll learn about your dog's needs and schedule your first walk - which is completely free!
What happens during a meet and greet?
Our meet & greet is a 15-minute session where one of our pack leaders visits your home. We'll discuss your dog's behavior, health, preferences, and any special requirements. It's also the perfect time for you to ask questions and for your dog to get comfortable with their walker.
Do you ever take dogs off leash?
No, never. Safety is our top priority. We NEVER take dogs off leash during walks. We always maintain 4 points of contact using a leash, harness, and safety clips to ensure a secure and controlled walk for every dog.
How many dogs are in a pack walk?
Our pack walks have a strict maximum of 5 dogs per group (but we aim for 4). This ensures every dog receives individual attention and allows our pack leaders to maintain full control and safety during the walk.
What if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs?
No problem! Our Private Walk service is perfect for dogs that prefer one-on-one attention, are reactive, or are working through training. Your dog gets 30 minutes of dedicated, focused care with their own pack leader.
How do I track my dog during a walk?
We use the TimeToPet mobile app, which provides real-time GPS tracking so you can see exactly where your dog is during their walk. You'll also receive photos and a report card after each walk, plus seamless scheduling and billing through the app.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand plans change! We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee. Contact us directly for our full policy details.
Do you offer services on weekends?
Yes! We offer dog walking services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekends and after hours are sometimes available.
